OUR ENVIRONMENTAL AND QUALITY POLICIES

 

Environmental Policy

 

The Directors of Crown International recognise the importance of environmental issues in relation to the design and manufacture of equipment and are committed to:

Developing a range of products which have associated environmental benefits, in particular using expert sub contactors with the latest high end equipment including Laser cutting & water jet cutting.

Taking environmental considerations into account in the design of our products.

Ensuring that energy, materials and other resources are used efficiently and that waste is minimised.

Preventing pollution and minimising the environmental risks associated with our activities.

Minimising, or where possible eliminating, the use of hazardous chemicals.

Complying with all relevant environmental regulations.

Ensuring that all staff are fully aware of this policy and its importance.

Working with customers, staff, suppliers, and other stakeholders to continually improve our environmental performance.

 

Quality Policy

 

Crown International recognises the importance of quality in the design, manufacture and repair of its products in order to satisfy and exceed customer's needs and expectations.

A Quality Management System has been established since 2002 which meets the requirements of International standard ISO 9001:2000 and shall be implemented, maintained and improved throughout the company.

The manuals describing this system and its operation are held at the companies premises in Portishead, Bristol, England.

This Quality Management System forms the foundation upon which all product and service quality programs will be built.

An intrinsic part of this approach will be the setting and reviewing of quality objectives implemented through the Management Review System.

Through this approach the continual improvement and suitability of the Quality Management System shall be maintained.

Senior management are committed to ensuring that appropriate resources are made available.

It is the intention of the management to ensure that all Crown employees are aware of the importance, implementation and maintenance of the Quality Management System.

It is of prime importance to identify and satisfy the needs and expectations of our customers. This will include all regulatory and statutory requirements.

Senior management's objective and policy is to ensure that the Quality Management System is applied effectively throughout the company.
